Brian is a small business owner and national fitness professional and firearms instructor that lives and works in the DC area. From learning the fundamentals in early childhood to advanced marksmanship in the U.S. Army, Brian's experience with firearms has spanned over four decades. Brian's knowledge of kinesthetics and his passion for everything that goes "bang" makes him uniquely qualified to capitalize on a coaching model that gets his clients shooting safely and efficiently quickly. A natural teacher, Brian is passionate about leading people towards a self-sufficient lifestyle.

I've Never Owned a Firearm - Can I Still Take This Class?
Absolutely! We've trained quite a few first-timers. The decision to learn more about firearms is very personal. Some people are simply looking to "know more" while others have decided to take the steps and training necessary to safely defend themselves and their families.
I'm Nervous Around Guns ... Is This Dangerous?
Firearm safety is paramount. We drill firearm safety procedures heavily in our classes. There is no live ammunition in our classrooms, ever. All firearms are triple-cleared empty before they are allowed in the building or range. You can rest assured that we take your safety and comfort seriously.
What Can I Expect to Learn?
Investing in a progressive training model will ensure you develop competency from the beginner level to the defensive shooter. Each of our four tiers of firearm competency builds upon the previous. You can expect to learn the operational basics of guns, ammunition, grip, stance, sight alignment, sight picture, trigger flow, target acquisition, and more. We'll also get into how to purchase your first (or next) firearm, gear, gadgets, and safe storage. We'll take you as far as you're ready to go.
Do these classes include "live fire" at a range?
Yes, most of them do. Even though (for example) the state of Virginia doesn't require you to actually "shoot" a firearm before getting your concealed permit we believe it serves you best to experience what its like to make the gun go "bang." It doesn't make much sense to have a firearm you've never shot before, right?
Will These Classes Qualify Me to Get My Concealed Carry in VA
Yes, our classes exceed the State's requirement for Concealed Carry. Classes are taught in-person by an NRA & USCCA Certified Instructor. This is even good for Fairfax County where some difficulties in acquiring licensing have presented themselves with the Clerks Office.
What is the Cancellation Policy?
Class purchases are non-refundable but if you notify us within 24 hours the class fee can be transferred to another class within 90 days.
